Kafait Ahmad, Founder & Director

An experienced clinical research consultant with a broad range of industry experience in both commercial and academic environments. Skilled in Team management, Project Management, Oncology, Clinical Data Management, and Clinical Monitoring with a master’s in clinical research from University of South Wales, UK. Kafait gained extensive experience in clinical trials conduct while working at world leading clinical research organizations and pharmaceuticals companies such as Covance, Gilead, Sanofi, GSK and Merck Sharp Dhom (MSD). Kafait is dedicated to build a company and culture that looks after all its people, partners, clients with a vision to improve the disease control and find cure in areas of unmet medical need.

Brad, Non-Executive Director

Brad has worked in clinical research for over 10 years. He has worked in both academic and private research enterprises, gaining experience in business development, budget and contract negotiation, study startup, regulatory management, study coordinator and site management. Brad started an integrated site network in 2018 that provides research infrastructure for over 25 physician-investigators across United States. Brad has joined LINCS team to expand his clinical research network in UK & EU.

Sally Mashaly, Non-Executive Director

An experienced clinical research consultant, based in Egypt with a broad range of industry experience in both commercial and academic environments. Skilled in Clinical Research Project Management, Oncology, Clinical Data Management, and Clinical Monitoring. Sally gained extensive experience in clinical trials conduct while working at world leading clinical research organizations and pharmaceuticals companies.  Sally is dedicated to build a company and culture that looks after all its people, partners, clients with a vision to improve the disease control and find cure in areas of unmet medical need in the region.

Nick Kisengese

Nick is experienced Clinical Research and Public Health Projects Management Consultant who has worked at international, regional and local level in Product Development Partnerships, Contract Research Organizations, Academic Medical Research Centers, Not for profit organizations and Pharmaceutical industry. At present, he is the Director, ClinWin Research Services. Previously, he was the Clinical Trials and Site Manager for Janssen Pharmaceuticals, a Johnson and Johnson Company, responsible for clinical trials conducted across Sub Saharan Africa region. He managed dozens of clinical trials projects in different therapeutic areas as Senior Clinical Research Associate at Quintiles; and Clinical Research Associate II at Pharmaceutical Product Development (PPD).

As the Clinical Research Associate at Aeras Global TB Vaccine Foundation; he managed tuberculosis epidemiological studies and clinical trials conducted in Africa, India and Cambodia. He was the Clinical Research Associate at the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (IAVI), responsible for Kenya and Rwanda HIV vaccines clinical research sites.

For over three years he held positions of increasing responsibility at Ghent University affiliated International Centre for Reproductive Health, where he was responsible for the planning, management and implementation of HIV/AIDs and reproductive health clinical research and social science research projects. He completed his clinical research training Internship at KEMRI/Wellcome Trust Research Programme, Kilifi where he was involved in implementation of Respiratory Synctial Virus Immunology and epidemiology research project and Measles vaccine evaluation.
He is continuing Doctoral Student at Edinburgh Business School of Heriot-Watt University, focusing on clinical trials projects management and graduated with Master of Business Administration from Edinburgh Business School, UK. He holds honors degree in Biological Sciences and Chemistry from Egerton University, Kenya. Nick completed his professional training in Epidemiology, Vaccinology, Infectious Diseases Clinical Trial Research Training and Clinical Vaccine Trials and Good Clinical Practice from The Institute of Tropical Medicine at Antwerp, Belgium, University of Cape Town, George Washington University and John Hopkins University School of Public Health respectively.

He is member at Association of Clinical Research Professionals of USA, Project Management Institute and The Institute of Clinical Research of UK.
